Below Is a witness statement for the assault at El Cerrito Plaza where driver, Gonzalez struck Mr. Allums with his SUV in a cross walk while speeding to [ick up his kid from school. angered, he was late he jumped out his car and knocked Mr. Allums unconscious for touching his vehicle as he was being run over by the SUV. Shocked and angered Mr. Gonzalez behavior, Mr. Gomez stepped forth to tell the officer what happened, but ECPD Officer Alverez, waived him away and stated he didn’t need any witnesses then wrote a report that was so biased against Mr. Allums and not based on the truth that mr. Allums could not get Mr. Gonzalez prosecuted nor could he sue Mr. Gonzalez in what should have been a slam dunk case.
